Our Qarbi team is on the hunt for a passionate and talented Magento Developer. You’ll be instrumental in the development and upkeep of our e-commerce platform, working to provide our customers with a smooth and captivating online shopping journey. JOB DESCRIPTION
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, enhance, and support our Magento-based e-commerce system.
- Customize and configure Magento 2 to fulfill specific business needs and goals.
- Develop unique modules and extensions to boost our online shop’s features and user experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver responsive and aesthetically pleasing web designs.
- Incorporate external systems, plugins, and APIs to enhance website efficiency.
- Quickly identify and fix technical problems, errors, and glitches.
- Enhance site speed, efficiency, and safety, ensuring a secure and seamless customer experience.
- Perform code evaluations to maintain high-quality code standards, following best practices and coding protocols.
- Stay updated of the latest in Magento developments, e-commerce trends, and best practices.
- Participate in defining project scopes and offer technical advice and recommendations.
- Offer mentorship and technical direction to less experienced team members.
- Engage with project stakeholders to perpetually refine and augment the e-commerce platform’s capabilities and features.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- At least 2 year experiences as Magento Developer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Magento Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful Magento projects.
- Proficiency in Magento 2 development, including custom module development and theming.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and KnockoutJs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code deployment processes.
- Familiarity with e-commerce best practices, online payment gateways, and PCI compliance.
- Understanding of SEO principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Magento certification(s) is a plus.
- Basic English communication.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
